You are making a wise decision to be circumcised that will reduce bacteria and viruses from living on and under the foreskin.Today, there is numbing medicine to prick the foreskin of the penis to avoid much pain. Ruthe Real: 1) Anesthetic would be used. There is apparently discomfort with erections due to stitching and getting used to the glans rubbing on clothing. However pain medication can be used to deal with that. Even if it were otherwise it couldn't hurt too much. I read about a guy who did it to himself. Of course even he now realizes how stupid and dangerous that was but the point is that it can't hurt too bad.2) 6-8 weeks3) no.
