Scot Rotruck: You can most likely get a job dental assisting w/o going to school for it. I was a dental assistant for 5 years and started w/o experience. The work I did was far from menial. Don' waste your time going to school for dental assisting. Go for dental hygiene. It's more than 2x the pay.
