Philosophy books without spirituality?

Emeline Albracht: Philosophy is based on the existential experience of man. Where we came from and what we are are part of the equation. Therefore it becomes hard to imagine that any book of philosophy that is worth anything at all would not have this question as an inherent part of the philosophy itself at some level. A good philosophy that doesn't start with this question usually ends with it. It is an inherent part of the existential question itself. Without the question there is no need or purpose at all the philosophy. I guess you have to take it! or leave it unless you want to explore political philosophies which are really just dogma and I am thinking that you may have to drop the hopes for something thought provoking....Show more
