Mauro Cowee: Usually getting and cleaning everything off the floors makes the house look better.Put things that can't be put away quickly into closets.organize surfaces and their contents.
Darrel Stele: Usually you start with the less messy room and work your way to the messiest so you are not too tired. Have a basket of cleaning supplies near you, one for windows(save for another time) or mirrors and take a rag, spray with cleaner and wipe them. Dusting, get furniture polish on rag and wipe off tables, etc. Get a long dusting stick to get cobwebs off ceiling and walls, tall things if you can. Vacumm carpeting and upholstery. Whew! I bet you're tired now. Okay, clear off the dining table and counters and tables of magazines, etc. Put in a pile, put stuff don't belong in the room, put in a basket and put aside, later you will put them where they belong. Clean the kitchen, put dishes in dishwasher, wash by hand if don't, put away. Wipe counter with Lysol cl! eaning wipes or spray on rag and wipe. Clean kit'n sink or quick wipe with Lysol. Don't forget the bathroom(s). Use wipes for toilet seat, etc and spray bathroom foam cleaner in sink, wait few moments, then take a rag and wipe up and rinse. Make the beds, clear off dressers, dust, and vacuum carpeting or floor with broom. Oh my , I'm tired. This a a pretty rundown list of things to do, hope this helps. As for being fast, only you know what must be done. I guess, grab a basket and put things in them that don't belong in the rooms, and put aside and you can do quick dust with a feather duster and be sure to vacuum. Look for cobwebs and wipe down furniture and appliances with appropriate cleaners for each chore. Good Luck!...Show more
Jon Bergmeier: Our house is always clean, being neat, cleaning bathrooms daily, dusting, mopping floors, and vacuuming often pays off.
Thomas Riner: Walk around with a trash container and throw away everything that can! be thrown away. Then, walk around with an empty laundry basket! and collect anything that isn't put away properly. Store this somewhere out of sight and deal with it when you have time.Get a wet cleaning cloth and wipe dust off surfaces, then vacuum.Notice that this doesn't actually count as having a clean place, but it's presentable enough for the short term. Real cleaning doesn't go particularly quickly and your best bet is to put on some energetic music and make it as fun as you can....Show more
