i have a rare condition called?

Gertrude Darke: I was her same age when I found out I had it. It took 2 and a half years, but I was able to get pregnant in my left uterus and delivery vaginally at 32 weeks. I don't have 2 vaginas though just one. I've heard of women who have a lot of miscarriages though that just stretches out how much room she has in the uterus and then they have healthy babies later on.

Robbie Starchman: This disease is widely screened for in pre-natal tests these days... That may explain why it is so rare today.

Eldridge Rieves: Phenylketonuria is a clinical syndrome of mental retardation with cognitive and behavioral abnormalities caused by elevated serum phenylalanine. The primary cause is deficient phenylalanine hydroxylase activity. Diagnosis is by detecting high phenylalanine levels and normal or low tyrosine levels. Treatment is lifelong dietary phenylalanine restriction. Prognosis is excellent with treatment. (Merck)Phenylketonuria (PKU) is a rare condition in whic! h the body does not properly break down (metabolize) an amino acid called phenylalanine.Treatment involves a diet that is extremely low in phenylalanine such as breast milk, meat, chicken, fish, nuts, cheese and other dairy products. Starchy foods such as potatoes, bread, pasta, and corn must be monitored. Many diet foods and diet soft drinks that contain the sweetener aspartame must also be avoided, as aspartame is metabolized into several constituent chemicals, including phenylalanine. Please see the web pages for more details on Phenylketonuria....Show more

In your own words tell me about the disease ebola?

Doreatha Kjellsen: I have it quite bad, and medically there is no cure (according to my doctor). It's sometimes caused by different medications. In my case, codeine, steroids and a drug I can't remember at the moment as I am not taking it. Therefore, if you are on any medication it depends on whether you really need to take, in my case I have to as I have emphasema. One person I know who suffers really bad with it, goes to bed with a MP3 player, playing his favourite music, to drown out the noise and lull him off to sleep. I would google it and see if there had been any medical advancement or maybe a forum where you can find out how other people cope with it.Good luck,...Show more

Paul Maymi: I started getting tinnitus years ago from listening to loud music and being around machinery all day, I guess. I found that ear plugs help. I also do this thing where before sleeping, I press the palms of my hands against my ears, enough so I can hear my heart beat. After a w! hile, it creates a womb-like experience and I eventually fall asleep. After a few days of doing this and using ear plugs and reducing exposure to noise, I noticed that the tinnitus stopped. Sometimes, I would have to stop this exercise and also take out the ear plugs to avoid pain. I read somewhere that the ear drum is a very delicate organ inside your ear that is a somewhat bone like structure, so I also made sure I was getting enough calcium - don't know if that helped (I also had to make sure I wasn't consuming too much of anything that would interfere with the calcium intake, like alcohol, tobacco or meds. They say there is no cure for tinnitus, but I sure found one and have been tinnitis free for years now. Hope all this helps and it works for you too. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!...Show more

Charline Granes: This Site Might Help You.RE:Does anyone know about tinitus? The constant ringing in my ears needs to stop, but how?

Rayford Speziale: ! It's important to say that tinnitus is a symptom and not a dis! ease. Some people will have tinnitus because their Cochlea is damaged. And in a few, it could be caused due to hearing loss. But of course, the most common cause of tinnitus is exposure to loud noises. The noise can be a sudden burst, or it could be a constant banging that hits the ear drum and travels inside.A good guide you can read about tinnitus and some good natural remedies can be found here: http://tinnitus.toptips.org...Show more

Everette Rovinsky: Sounds like it is sinuses, maybe due to allergies or may just be a sinus infection, you could maybe try some cold and flu relief tablets and see if that helps instead of the tylenol BUT you may wish to seek medical advice from your GP before taking it because you are pregnent and I don't know enough about pregnancy and drugs to say 100% its safe for you to take those tablets

Armanda Hertel: It could be your sinuses, I always take a decongestant when I feel like my head is all plugged up.

Leann Villalta: ! HI CAMHere are some ideas on how to heal your condition. #9 or #10 will solve the issue quickly, but you still need to look at your water and nutrition intake in general for long term.Causes of Hearing DisordersAmong the most common causes of hearing disorders are allergies, antibiotic and other drug use, the buildup of earwax, infection and inflammation, and chronic exposure to loud noises.Quick Action Plan for Hearing Disorders1. Clean your ears regularly, using cotton swabs, but do so gently to avoid damaging ear tissue. 2. Avoid exposure to loud noises. If you work in a noisy environment, wear earplugs or earmuffs to protect your ears. 3. Be screened for both food and environmental allergies. A highly effective method for detecting allergies is electrodermal screening (EDS). 4. To eliminate allergies, consider enzyme-potentiated desensitization (EPD). 5. Emphasize a diet rich in organic whole foods, especially plenty of fresh, organic vegetables, along with garlic and o! nions to boost immunity. Also eat high quality protein foods, such as o! rganic free-range meats, poultry and wild-caught fish. 6. Avoid all foods to which you are allergic or sensitive, and eliminate all commercially processed foods, as well as sugar, refined carbohydrates, alcohol, and caffeine, and all food additives, colorings, and preservatives. 7. Drink plenty of pure, filtered water throughout the day. 8. Useful nutrients for hearing problems include vitamin A, beta carotene, B vitamins, vitamin C, zinc, MSM, and N-acetyl cysteine (NAC). Acidophilus supplements are also recommended to prevent infection and systemic yeast overgrowth (candiasis). 9. Useful herbs include Echinacea, ginkgo biloba, goldenseal, hypericum, and St. John’s wort. Drops of tea tree oil and diluted grapeseed extracts inserted in the ear via an eye dropper can also be helpful. 10. Useful homeopathic remedies include Aconite, Apis mellifica, Belladonna, Chamomilla, Ferrum, phos., Lycopodium, Merc. Sol., Pulsatilla, and Silicea. 11. According to traditional Chinese me! dicine theory, most hearing disorders are related to imbalances in the kidney meridian system. Rebalancing kidney energies using acupuncture and Chinese herbs can often resolve hearing problems. 12. Auditory integration training, such as the Tomatis Method, can be highly effective for resolving hearing problems related to hypersensitivity to high frequency sounds. Best of health to you...Show more

Darcie Peraha: It is essential that we have all the vitamins and minerals that our body needs to function properly. But sometimes, because of wrong food choices, the human body does not receive all the essential nutrients. For example, if you are not getting adequate Vitamin B, then you might develop tinnitus. Luckily however, Vitamin B is easily obtainable from grains, cereals, vegetables and fruits. So always ensure that your eating plan includes them. Eat a well balanced meal that includes all the food groups. A supplement can never work as well as the natural food source! . Sound Masking - This is a unique approach to provide you some relief ! from the tinnitus noises. Those who suffer from tinnitus often report the problem worsening in the night. This happens because the silence of the night seems to intensify the noises heard. A masking device plays some soft natural noises that are pleasant on the ear. It is as if you are hearing some channel music at the hotel lobby or listening to your favorite composer through the earphone. The unpleasant swishing, buzzing and constant ringing is thus blocked. Alternative tinnitus treatments may work. But there's a problem. In most cases, when using alternative remedies for tinnitus, the root contributing factors that caused all those noises remain, and so the sounds will come back as soon as you have stopped following these treatments. The only way you could ever get rid of your tinnitus for good is by following the holistic approach to healing. By using a multidimensional treatment for tinnitus, we are tackling all tinnitus causative factors and eliminating these triggeri! ng elements from the root. This is the only path for permanent freedom from tinnitus.Click Here : http://tinnitusremedyhealth.info or http://tinnitusmiraclehealthy.infohttp://youtu.be/Na6KqmF8Okw

Michal Semple: It's a disease with a high mortality rate (rate of dying from a disease) The disease was named so after a river in Africa called the "Ebola River" because that's where the outbreaks occured. It was believed to have started in Monkey's and somehow made the trasmission into humans. It's spread by bodily fluid transfer, similar to HIV.

Chris Coggins: Lately it seems that my allergies are maybe acting up. It feels honestly like someone punched me in the face, there is just this huge pressure/aching from my nose/between my eyes. It starts yesterday as a headache between my eyes and today my nose hurts all over. I have never suffered allergies this bad. My allergy medications or tylenol are not helping at all (plus I'm pregnant with twins so it's doubly exha! usting). Is this pressure due to allergies or is there something else g! oing on that I should be worried about?also posted in allergies but it didn't seem too lively....Show more

Cecil Derenzi: Why is that

Hal Rouse: there are a lot of causes for this to happen. as was posted already . meds WILL do this a lot of the time .the most common reason is the noise level you are exposed to an a daily basis.another way is usually found due to an inner ear infection creating pressure on the ear drum and since the ear drum is always moving it causes the ring. you didnt mention any other symptoms that may be going with it , such as dizzy ? nausea? balance being off but not enough to cause the previous. you didn't mention that you play in a band ( and this doesn't mean a rock band , this means any kind of band ) like school, country , rock . or per say you work as a roadie for a band ? you also didn't say if you have been sick in the past week or say since about 7 days before this started .you also didn't say how long this has been going on.it c! ould also be caused buy going up and down a hill every day that causes an air pressure difference?the reason i have said all of this is because i DO play in a rock band and i also work out front as the audio Eng. running a 55,000 watt pa system for a living. yeah its hard on the ears , but i also fly (air pressure) so i also know where that may play a role. How to make it stop???? with out any of the information i have asked for it would be impossible to answer in a broad spectrum answer with out saying you have to stop just about everything that your doing. So look at every aspect of your daily life and see what may be causing it and do your best to change that . it will take about a week to stop when you find the cause . i hope you haven't suffered permanent damage from the real cause ....Show more

Agustina Stimmel: Hi! I know how bad it feels. I am sorry for what had happened? Before I go on any further, plz refer a doctor at the earliest, if u haven't till now. ! To mask the sound, listen to a MP3 player. Try to deviate your mind fro! m it. Its always present, u should try to get used to it. Dont bother about it. Good thing is that tinnitus does not harm u. It just keeps bothering u, but as I said does not damage your ear. For some, even dizziness and hearing loss can be there. Be happy that ur's is good enough. Let me tell u there is no permanent cure for this. U have to accept it. However, see a Head and Neck Surgeon or Ear, Nose, Throat Specialist to rule out if there is any cause for this problem. For yur information, tinnitus maskers are available which produce good sound that masks the ringing sound in your ears. Check for side effects of any drugs which u r taking? Sometimes tinnitus can be produced as a side effect of drugs. Good luck. Please let not the tinnitus interfere with your work. Keep going! All the very best....Show more

Wilmer Skidmore: 2

Hal Rouse:

Scot Rotruck: Sometimes the tinnitus noises could come together with pain or discomfort in the ear. This usually happen! s when one or both of your ears are blocked because of excessive wax. So clear some of it, and the noise will go away. But it is not always that simple to get rid of the noises. Sometimes the causes can be much more complicated, and there could be several contributing factors as well. Sadly, your conventional doctor will not be able to give you permanent relief because the treatment offered is only symptomatic. Treating the symptoms will never help when the causes remain. Diet Soda: Friend or Foe?

Wally Perrien: Diet Soda is just a drink. You get no real nutritional value from them so saying they are good for you is misleading. It's not terrible for you but really not all that great. Diet soda: foe, water: friend.

Pattie Vold: If her health care professional prescribes them, she'll be great so long as she does not abuse them. Over the counter nutrition capsules are a terrible notion- preclude the ones! Most are simply colossal doses of caffeine or another stimulant. Others are natural dietary supplements, and few had been accredited via the FDA. She'll be great with a prescription, even though. Most of the time, medical professionals do not prescribe nutrition capsules until its a significant hindrance, so do not fear. If she's grossly chubby, she'll be greater off loosing the load besides, but when now not, he's going to often simply aid her arise with a nutrition and activity plan....Show more
