I didnt get them when i was younger (like grade 6) but now im stuck looking like ! this while i will be in police training lol. in my opinion, you should try and get them over with as soon as possible!!! just think of how great your teeth will look when it is all over!!!!hope this helped!!!Good luck!!! >....answers 2:my husband and neighbour have partial dentures and don't even feel they have themanswers 3:Have all 4 of them taken out in one appointment under a general anesthetic or IV sedation. You will be no sorer than if you took out 2 at a time. You would get it over with in one post op event. It would be less expensive than 2 appointments. If the lowers are impacted the cost should be paid by your medical insurance. You will be sore for a few days after the extractions. You will be on pain meds and they might make you groggy. Lifting and bending over for the first few days should be avoided as much as possible to help prevent a dry socket from developing. To sum it up, the actual extractions will be painless but the post op recovery will slow y! ou down. Good luck....answers 4:Smoking will delay the healin! g. You should stop smoking until your dentist has given you the OK. Better yet, you should just stop smoking....but, you already know that.answers 5:good luck hun, i'm not going to say it doesnt hurt. Coz of course its going to. Just remember it'll be over soon.answers 6:About the CNA course, you will need to be in bed for about 2-3 days and take it lightly. As long as you aren't having clinicals right now it shouldn't be a big deal. But yes it is going to hurt, but at least you will be getting it over with and wont have to deal with it any more. They will probably give you a shot in your gums or through an IV, you wont feel the pain for about 3-4 hrs just make sure they give you some pain meds and if I was you, i'd be taking some Tylenol PM also so at least that way you can sleep through the pain, thats what I did with my oral surgery
