Roni Kurz: They do make cheap cars but remember what FORD stands for Fix Or Repair Daily. You get what u pay for if u want good price and good car go with HONDA will last u forever
Maria Bengston: No,, Ford today is top quality, all cars are using cheaper metals and other parts to save on weight and cost. No other car manufacturer out their can compete with Ford. All makes have a "cheap' entry level car, and they have to for the simple fact that their are all different budgets and gas mileage expectations. Small cars are cheaper to buy, but Ford doesnt improvise quality on any of their vehicles.
Torri Tippey: There has always been an entry level Ford product. Right now it is the Fiesta. Some times in the past few decades the actual profit margin on these cars was zero (or so it was reported in auto trade magazines). I don't know what the profit margin is on this car for Ford right now. Part of Fords change in strategy to keep out of bankruptcy was to st! op selling some cars at a loss. Some of those cars were the bottom end cars, but not all. The history is too deep to recount here.So I guess the answer is yes, they do sell a cheaper priced car. But it still has tighter manufacturing requirements then the other makers cars in the same price range because it carries the Ford emblem....Show more
Marhta Teahan: Depends what you call Cheap? A Ford Fiesta is about a $12,000 car.http://autos.yahoo.com/ford/fiesta/all-years.html
Queenie Ruthers: cheap how? Cause last time I checked they didn't need a bailout when the recession hit and they are still here without the government's or a foreign car company's help
