What do you think about home schooled kids?

Hollis Demasters: I'm trying not to generalize, but every single home schooled kid I've met was very, very weird.

Rubi Romo: Maybe are smart but not like sociable ....Or they have more chances of getting able to pay attention . Like the high school i use to go to in Freshmanyear was a piece of sh*t like ....But i don't know

Caterina Yeargan: I think that depending on the parents teaching techniques, they can be very smart.I have nothing against home schooling, but it is not something that I am considering for my child. I believe that it is very important for children to have the opportunity to interact with other children and adults that are not their parents or close family members. That is the same reason that, even though I am a stay at home mom, my son will probably go to daycare part time after he is about a year old.And why would home schooled children be less attractive? They are normal human beings just like (most of) us....Show more

Nannie Kasee! : Attractiveness has nothing to do with schooling. Some are smart, some not. But most of them do turn out weird. Every home-schooled kid I have ever known was weird.. And particularly there was this one kid who was home-schooled and he came to school and it was... weird. He asked to use my sharpener, but I didn't bring it that day, so I told him that and he didn't believe me and started freaking out on me and saying that I was just lying because I am stuck-up and other things. And later on in the year he also went crazy and tried to kill everyone (seriously) and we had to have one of those lock-down things (it was fun). Then the next year in high school he stabbed some kid and he got expelled, but then he came back 2 years later. Then got expelled again. He was really really really weird. I suppose there might be some normal ones, but mostly, they seem very different....Show more

Betsey Muehlbach: I was home schooled for all of high school, I was 2 grades above my cla! ss and was too bored in public school to pay attention. I HATE! D it, but only because I only had 2 friends. I was able to study whatever I wanted and have a higher reading level than most people I know. So education wise it's awesome, socially, it's horrific. Oh, and as for attractiveness, what does that have to do with home schooling? P.S. I do get hit on a lot.

Gordon Showes: Just like everyone else, except for missing the public school experience. Which may or may not be a big deal. I can't tell.

Terresa Tsasie: Actually, I think they're really lucky :) I know 1 person who is home schooled and she's pretty so WTF does home schooling got to do with attractiveness?

Kate Baune: They're very smart. Studies have shown that home school kids tend to score higher on tests than their public school counterparts. As for their attractiveness, I couldn't tell you because they always stay at home.

Rodolfo Merel: my neighbors are home-schooled... well, one of them just went into high school this year... he's smart, athletic! , musically gifted, and pretty much does EVERYTHING extra-curricular. he's also very, very attractive

Sammie Bocanegra: I've got nothing against them. Some of my closest friends were home schooled until middle or high school. It takes a special kind of parent to home school their kids though, especially if they're going to be well-rounded and socially adept. If I was to do it (which is not going to be an option), I'd definitely try to get them involved in activities outside the house (sports, town clubs, church, volunteering).

Claudio Drullard: They're stupid usually and really weird. And usually bible huggers.

Felipa Nosis: I know home schooling has nothing to do with the way you look, just sometimes home schooled kids are more....unkept? And i'm home schooled and i'm pretty sure i'm not weird.

Sunshine Holets: Some are very normal and others are not. Most homeschoolers do seem smart. But it really just depends on the person.

Lauri Ohl: Shel! tered, but smart. I know this may seem judgmental or whatever, but I kn! ow a handful of home schooled kids and most of the time, they don't seem fully aware of whats going on outside of their studies. (like what other people their age are up to)It also depends on the parents teaching strategies. I'm basing this off of people I personally know. Theres lots of kids out there who turn out just fine....Show more

Ismael Sixon: I think they're the same as public schooled kids, except they have the option to learn more at home than at a public school's cafeteria-styled school system.

Rona Ising: I'm not friggin sheltered, fyi. I'm not "unkept"It may sound bad, but idc, I'm beautiful, and I know it.I have to be homeschooled somewhat..I have aspergers syndrome, I model, and i'm shy.so no, they're smarter than public school kids..

Noah Deni: I think their regular people like everybody else. How would being home schooled make you less attractive than everyone else?
