Have you ever been polled?

Melina Minneweather: Bashing and supporting the winner of course.

An Cardine: In the Presidential races: if nobody voted, none of the candidates would be able to win electors and thus no candidate would reach the 270 mark. This would send EVERY candidate on at least one ballot to Congress, since there would be a 14-way tie. So Congress would decide. In Congressional races: I'm pretty sure the governors get to appoint winners for each district rep or senator in their state. I could be wrong about that, but I think that's how it works....Show more

Francis Stickle: Perhaps the children will do their homework and stay off the family computer.

Russel Gajate: at a rough guess i'd say they'd have a re-vote or a draw maybe share the country

Ollie Hamiel: I think the key to finding evidence is by reading a -lot- of books. Apparently, JFK (yes, our dear beloved) had a slew of dead people "vote" for him, helping him win the election- that is, he paid off a ! mayor in a high place to roll deceased citizens in his city as having voted for him. I can't remember what city, but I'm fairly certain it was an important one.But even if you don't believe that, honestly, you cannot even FATHOM the amount of money the people at the top of our society have, nor can you imagine their power. On top of this, they all know one another and are interconnected by status/wealth... It's something a regular person has difficulty understanding, really, but the wealthy all rub elbows. From cooperate CEOs to major politicians to celebrities, I find the line between them all to be a very thin one. Of course, the public could potentially make a difference, but the US is infamous for how little our people care about what goes on. Do you know any political activists? When's the last time you went to a caucus? Our country's amazing disinterest in political matters makes it easy for the big guys to circumvent our power, I think. If we have power. But in turn, ! we have it pretty good here in the USA!Whatcha gonna do?...Sho! w more

Daren Ventrice: Go back to our boring lives. What do you think.

Ramon Dahlheimer: I guess we'll go back to discussing The Hills Drama.

Letitia Bigelow: Well of course you won't be able to find any direct evidence for this. But the general assertion is true. As above and also in the way the government is run. It's not by the people, for the people, and to the people. It's by the rich whites, for the rich Bushes, and to the Haliburton holders.

Alonso Crehan: The electoral college would still decide it, regardless.

Piedad Bassiti: I'ma gonna eat me a bologna sammich, ya'll.yeeeeep

Delmer Pectol: Agree to corporation funded politicians. But we do not have a democracy. Our country is a republic.

Kirk Coolbeth: Obama and Edwards both did not take PAC funding. There is still corporate money in both of their campaigns but they at least gave up some funding. In fact, the three presidential candidates who took the most PAC cash are C! linton $747,000; Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), who accepted $563,000; and John McCain (R-Ariz.), $436,000.

Eliseo Luma: I have once and so has my husband. We have a land line.

Dedra Furguson: Offer advice and answer questions about what McCain fans can do to move to other countries, if that's what they wish to do. I don't suggest Canada or any European country. Their "high taxes," better rated school systems, fairer health care, and non-torture policies might put you off.May I suggest..hmm...Guam?

Lyman Gauld: It would be a tie, so it goes to the House of Representatives.

Vernon Martorana: No, but I don't answer the phone for those callers anyway.

Lulu Bukowiecki: Yes, twice.

Donte Liversedge: The current president will leave in January.

Lindsey Zanardi: Well there's always porn! Why attack the winner of the election of course!

Dewey Heersink: I don't think so.

Stephnie Patout: this election was the first time i was ever polled. ! the guy was obviously for obama. i told him i was voting for obama just! to get off the damn phone.

Isaias Badgley: there is a procudure for an electoral college tie (which is what you get when there are no votes cast)the presidential election is then decided by a vote in Congress. If Congress also ties, then the incumbent VP becomes president. President Cheney? Ouch....Show more

Irma Poiter: Great question. I know what you mean. I really am looking forward to not seeing the polls anymore but this can be fun at times.I spend time on Photography section, Japan Section and Entertainment section so I will go back to those a little more.

Shawnna Kusky: Don't think so

Dionna Doyel:

Willa Holte: I dont know about anyone else but sometimes theres nothing after a long day like going home and blowing off some steam by arguing over John McCain and Barrack Obama. I cant wait for tomorrow but at the same time its a little sad its ending. So tonight I am relaxing with a cup of hot chocolate watching the SNL Presidential Bash an! d getting a few more arguments in. What section of Yahoo Answers will everyone go back to once the election is over?

Frances Macky: well there has already been early voting, so that wouldn't happen. but if it did happen (the chances are infinitesimal), then I have no clue.

Frank Crummell: Obama would win because acorn has so many dead people voting, its ridiculous

Anibal Katayama: I know it would never happen but.. in theory hah

Dick Baumgarten: By the State of Maryland on bills, like the Casino bill they're pushing for now. Not by the pollsters, though.

Darrel Stele: Now that question just sounds perverted.......

Cody Petrulis: The Electoral College still would vote as mandated by law. With no popular vote to go by, they would have to choose on their own.No telling how they would vote if it were up to them. Currently they MUST vote based on popular vote of the state they represent.

Troy Monsivais: The only votes would be Obama and! Mccain and Obama would win Illinois has more electorals than Arizona.

Arlen Decorte: That's why i don't believe all of these scientific poll results,no one ever calls me,no one called most of my co-workers,who the hell gets polled...who the hell is doing the polling ?

Melina Minneweather: No, and I intend to vote for McCain.

Fritz Hawkey: Never

Ira Porietis: Once, I told them I would vote for Obama HA!!

Valentine Willinger: Oh, there will be plenty of whining and moaning over who ever gets elected tomorrow. Don't you worry your pretty little head about it. There will still be plenty of people on here to complain once the election is over.

Antonette Shappy: I and many other think we dont really have a democracy. Its just a shell game without true representation. Can anyone explain how this is so? Not why but how. I heard someone assert that corporations fund candidates they know can be bought. The candidates with the most advertising money get the most votes. The latter seems reasonable enough but I couldnt! find any evidence that corporations or wealty people are the ones who initially fund candidates to help them win primaries....Show more

Eli Trapeni: Vote for a 3rd party candidate that truly represents youI am voting for one

Damaris Weiler: if you want evidence thenlook at hillarys collection of large cash donations from minimum wage earning chinese immigrantshowever its not the corporations donating that worry meit is hillarys willingness to sell influence to foriegn governments that stand contrary to american policy
