Pre-Employment Drug Testing?

Rosann Mccomb: Normally companies will not drug test you until you pass the interview and are possibly selected for the position. In my experience, it has always been when I received an offer of employment contingent upon a pass of a drug test and I had to take the test within 24-48 hours at one of their testing facilities. As far as how long it will show up in your system it depends on the type of drug test the employer requests and your weight, health, how often smoked, etc. A urine test is in your favor, as the THC doesn't show up in urine as long as it does in hair follicles. In urine, it will show anywhere from 3-90 days, and in hair follicles anywhere from 3 months to 3 years. From the stats you gave, since you weigh less and sound in decent shape, it will probably be in the lesser range, although smoking it every other day for the last 2 weeks doesn't help. Depends on how much you smoked as well. From what I have read, THC stores in your fat cells so drinking a lo! t of water isn't as great as you would think for cleansing your system but it helps. If you do get a urine test, drink a lot of water and pee before going to take the test so your urine will be more diluted, it will help. In the morning toxins and hormones are at their highest levels because it is the longest period since you have gone pee typically, that's why they recommend taking pregnancy tests first thing in the morning. The things you are doing should help, but there's no guarantee that you will pass.
