Bernie Cerra: I still drink coffee, even though I limit myself. I used to be able to drink an entire pot of coffee in the mornings, but now I've cut it down to 2 or 3. It does the job and I'm good to go. Mostly. As far as soda, soda is bad but I still drink that on occassion. I think moderation is the key to it. And also making sure you have had enough water before anything else. Good luck and congrats!
Autumn Vacio:
Jestine Osumi: I am assuming when they refer to juices and sweets and a big baby in the womb they are referring to, the more sugar and overly caloric food you consume the more weight you and the baby will gain. So instead of a 7 lbs baby you may have a 10 lbs baby.As for the water, water is healthy for you and the baby. SO DRINK UP.
Bryant Chaudhry: Its not neccesarily smart but I drank soda with 2 out of three of my pregnancys and I am a person who drinks soda like ther is no other drink. I do have one hyper child but that is because of! family genes not the soda intake and the other that I drank soda with is very calm so in the long run I can see I have seen no effects negative. But during the pregnancy it can be a problem becuase of the diabetes that they test for and other medical issues. I was fortunate enough not to have any complications but everyone is differant. I had one doctor ask me to drink a glass of water after each glass of soda. I cant say I did it but it atleast was a good suggestion. Only you really know what you can handle and as long as there are no issues currently or that show up during your pregnancy then it should be ok as long as you pay attention. Im not reccomending it though because I know its probubly not the best idea but use your own judgement, you know your own body and should be able to tell if it is having any negative effect on you. Good luck!...Show more
Letitia Bigelow: Flavored water. I know so boring...but flavored water.
Donte Hamme: When you're pr! egnant you only need 300 calories more then you usually do tha! t's the equivelent to a bagel and a yogurt. You definitly need to eat more, and if you can't eat breastfast due to morning sickness talk to your Dr about meds to help with it (it helped me a lot) and if yoiu don't want meds try having small things.
Malcom Fenoff: Dunno, haven't actually thought about it... but thanks for the 2 points....That does sound good though.. and I'm not preggo.
Wally Gower: Lately, milk!!! Got milk? I can't get enough of it. However, I like mixed juices such as cranberry and pineapple with a little bit of 7-up.
Bob Pucella: I actually have a apple cider press and that i make my very own apple cider! clean is the final. I in user-friendly terms choose I lived nearer to 3 orange trees and that i might make my very own orange juice too. lamentably, Orange trees do no longer develop nicely right here in washington state. So i'm going to bypass with clean Apple juice!
Catheryn Barringer: You or your parent should talk to your do! ctor about your recommended diet. Its best to eat small frequent meals and water. Caffinated beverages like SODA arent reccomended.
Jonie Lauria: 1) Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I get morning sickness, I really do but it jump starts your metabolism for the whole day so do try and get something into you.2) You need fruits and vegetables (especially dark green) in your diet.3) You should not be drinking anything with aspartame in it so if Coke Zero has it, don't drink it.4) You need calcium in your diet, drink a glass of milk, please. You can also have cheese, yogurt, and some green veggies are high in calcium as well.Overall it doesn't sound like you are eating all the right things. Now some women who are pregnant are so sick they can't keep anything in and the babies turn out just fine. You are 5 weeks so hopefully the morning sickness will taper off and you will be able to eat in the mornings and stuff. Are you taking a pre natal vitamin? That is a! very good idea, especially if you think that you are not getting enoug! h because it will help to get some of those vitamins and minerals into you that maybe you aren't getting through food. Folic Acid is really important during pregnancy.Good Luck honey,Kim...Show more
Dalia Causby: Frozen lemonade
Chris Rosenkranz: definitely not in my case.
Rashad Marecki: minute maid
Stephnie Patout: i loved non-dairy strawberry smoothies. mmmm. also a virgin pina colada topped my list. mmm. i'm not pregnant, but one of those would be delightful right now!
Donte Schoenhals: Shirley temple
Alexander Villas: Cranberry juice or Welch's grape soda. I could drink both all day long!
Andra Oger: I drank green tea well pregnant, and soda and coffee, just not as much as I drank before I was pregnant. The herbs in the tea,may (not proven) cause problems so talk to your doctor about this. Caffeine is alright if not drank all the time, Like Pepsi would settle my stomach, and coffee gave me the pick me up in the morning. Both m! y kids and myself were healthy and are still healthy.
Jose Calaycay: There are plenty of safe teas to drink during pregnancy. You could also warm up apple juice or apple cider - so good! Hot cocoa would be okay in moderation - little bit of caffeine, but chocolate is good for pregnancy in moderation - it has iron! Go to a healthfood store or ask your dr which teas are safe. Some herbal teas are not safe, even though there is no caffeine. Some caffeine can be okay, but I always tried to avoid it when I was pregnant and nursing. I didn't need it, the baby didn't need it - why drink it?Red Raspberry Leaf tea is fine in the last month of pregnancy to prepare for labor, but it should be consumed in moderation. Too much of anything is usually not the best idea. Hope I could help - there should be some lists online that will give you all the safe beverages you can consume in pregnancy - if it was me, I would do hot water with lemon slices or warmed up pasturized juice....Sho! w more
Adan Alipio: sure
Marvel Mcaulay: ok when you wake u! p in the morning have your coffee! some caffiene is ok ( first thing in the morning its crutial for the safety of those around us! try to drink decaf as much as you can though, and i always drank caffiene free pepsi, and i drank all kinds of tea ( its good for you)! but as i sit here drinking my coffee, i want you to know that yes you can have that first morning cup! p.s i have been pregnant 4 times and all was fine!
Claire Billegas: what can i substitute with these aside from drinking milk?i really need to warm my stomach in the morning and i hate drinking cold drinks with breakfast
Abby Herwood: No mayo, no sodas. Check this out: Good luck! :)http://www.parents.com/pregnancy/my-body/nutrition...
Myron Leftwich: This is the first time I Hear this
Loise Mausser: mango colada
Dionna Doyel: what i did when i was pregnant with all 3 of my boys was, because i couldnt eat when i woke up in the morning, and i was always hungry in the middle of the ni! ght anyways, i would set my alarm for like 4 am, and have my breakfast then, then by the time i actually woke up i dsidnt feel the need to eat, and i didnt feel as sick because my stomach didnt have all night to churn the acid that helps to cause morning sickness, because in the beginning of pregnancy, your body is preparing for the baby and using more calories, so you do need to replace them, have a snack before you go to bed, something hearty , but small, then do as i did, and then after you wake up, if ur hungry and can eat, go aheadm if not, hopefully you fell better as i did, and have an early lunch when you are able to eat, you should also have a snack in between lunch and dinner, and try to drink most of your liquids during the day, helped me. hope it can help...Show more
Cassidy Pangrazio: decaf tea, decaf coffee, and decaf soda i prefer sprite but ginger ale is also decaf if you prefer not to drink the sodas that are chemically altered to become decaf such as! pepsi and coke but lateley i have been drinking mainly water the only ! bad thing i drink is chocolate milk but thats because i have been craving it since i was about 17 weeks pregnant so my husband buys it once a week for me to hold me off but i could drink it everyday if he let me
Tomeka Hameen: virgin Cesar's. Apparently its only big in Canada tho, but damn good.Clamato juice (normally mixed with vodka) with some celery salt around the rim, with a celery stick in the drink and Tabasco sauce.
Derrick Smsith: Limit your amount & yes you can. I warm up my milk or make hot choc in the morning. Its the only way I can drink milk. Yuck. Try caffine free drinks & I drink sweet tea all the time... only thing I have is a very active baby lol
Dedra Furguson: No. I think you're assuming that the sweet foods would cause gestational diabetes which can make the baby too big. But, eating a large amount of carbs (sugar) won't necessarily lead to GD.
Hugo Pittari: What is known is that if the mom-to-be doesn{t watch her weight and enjo! ys a diet rich on carbs, the baby will gain a lot of weight and it is not difficult at the end of the pregnancy to give birth to 10+ pound babies by c-section (impossible the other way). There´s a relationship between over-weight babies and diabetes.
Particia Thorton: Avoid coffee. Sorry but there's things you have to give up! Coffee is bad for your baby, soda isn't so good but just don't drink alot, & tea i think is fine i haven't stopped or slowed down on my tea intake & im 7 1/2 months pregnant & in wonderful health as well is my daughter! [thank god!]
Gus Leiby: You can drink caffeine in moderation during pregnancy. Drink alot of water though.
Jonelle Eligio: You can, but you need to watch how much you drink. Mainly because coffee and alot of kinds of soda are very high in caffeine. and you don't want to drink too much caffeine while you are pregnant, it can cause the baby to have birth defects and also it increases your chance of miscarrying. Try t! o drink caffeine free soda most of the time. Its ok though to still hav! e a can or two of caffeine soda once in awhile. Don't drink more than a can or two a day of the caffeine, and same with the coffee, doctor said you can have about 1-2 cups of coffee a day. good luck....Show more
Joie Libutti: yea but you arent supposd to eat mayo when you're pregnant.
Gregg Hagge: hell no
Mauro Cowee: Water is healthy for you and your baby. You should be drinking at least 8 glasses a day. As for the question about weather or not these things can make your baby bigger I dont know but juices and sweets usually make your baby move alot in your stomach
Misty Vagle: Mine is a slushee from fiesta mart blue raspberry with a lil strawberry daiquiri...(non alcoholic)
Sabra Roers: Breakfastnothing cant eat anything lunchsoup with bread with mayo and coke zerodinnermeat*chicken normally* salad and soup with watersnackmatters sometimes its leftovers or something small sometimes its nothingim 17 and 5 weeks pregnant...Show more
